ZOÉ
Julie Timmerman / Idiomecanic Théâtre
Little Zoé grows up alongside a father with mood swings, oscillating between days of terror and days of wonder. With the help of her friend Victor and therapists, she searches for her place in a tumultuous world, caught between love and madness. Julie Timmerman, the only child of actors, draws on her own experiences to explore the inner workings of bipolar disorder, the impact of the illness on her unconventional family, and her passion for theater. Skillfully blending humor and depth, ZOÉ gradually builds in intensity before a final release—an ode to love and understanding.
Julie Timmerman is an associate artist with the Scène de recherche for the 2023/24 and 2024/25 seasons.
