Cultural Initiative Projects
In 2026–2027, we are organizing various arts and cultural education (ACE) projects with several schools in Essonne.
- In 2025, author and director Victor Thimonier was in a long-term residency at the Climate and Environmental Sciences Laboratory at Paris-Saclay University to create a short-form performance aimed at school audiences on the topic of climatology.
The show ExTRAS#2 Climate Records, which emerged from this residency, will tour various high schools in the region this season. Laboratory tours and theater workshops will also be offered to students.
Project funded by the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation and the UNESCO Learning City. - The directing duo Julien Avril and Marion Amiaud will visit the Lycée Monge in Savigny-sur-Orge to develop a project centered on the play Celles qui cherchent. Together, students and artists will explore why girls are underrepresented in careers in the exact sciences. Through theater, they will examine gender stereotypes and seek to further assert their place in these fields.
Project funded by the Cordées de la réussite. - Musicians from the Massy Opera Orchestra will visit the school in Moulon for a long-term arts and cultural education project. Through demonstrations and hands-on workshops, they will introduce students to the richness and diversity of musical instruments and repertoires.
