The Collectif Marthe brings to life the work of Carole Roussopoulos, a socially conscious filmmaker who, camera in hand, captured the struggles of the Women’s Liberation Movement, the Homosexual Revolutionary Action Front, and the historic Lip strike.
Inspired by her art of the “video leaflet” and her way of linking feminist struggles with social struggles, two actresses bring to life, with rhythm and passion, a cast of strong women: abortion rights activists, striking workers, female farmers, and even Jane Fonda! *Rembobiner* immerses us in a past brimming with strength and ingenuity, where every person, every struggle, every tension, and every joy continues to resonate to this day.
