Cerebrum Kids delves into children’s futuristic imagination, exploring their relationship with images, screens, fake news, and end-of-the-world narratives. On stage, a child puppet, hailing from a distant era—the dawn of photography.
Curious about everything, she asks innocent questions, confusing image and reality, much like during the Lumière brothers’ first screenings.
Through perceptual illusions and interactive experiences, the earliest inventions of cinema—the magic lantern, the thaumatrope, and the praxinoscope—come to life, offering the audience a fascinating journey into a world where images and reality intertwine. A show for young and old alike!
