Sur scène, des comédiens vérifient les branchements des lumières.

Artist Residencies

La Scène de recherche - Théâtre Paris-Saclay supports contemporary theater. We make our venue and stage managers available to artistic teams so they can create their plays, and we enable them to meet with scientists from Paris-Saclay University to enrich their work.
To discuss their artistic approach and the scientific disciplines they explore, nothing could be simpler: send us an email at and we’ll set up a meeting.

Our Associate Artists

Once again this season, three artists and one duo are collaborating with the Scène de recherche - Théâtre Paris-Saclay. They will come to write, develop, and direct their own works on stage and will work alongside the team on various workshops and cultural outreach projects.

Marion Boudier and Guillermo Pisani

A playwright, researcher in theater studies, and member of the Institut Universitaire de France, Marion Boudier co-directs the company Le Système pour devenir invisible with author and director Guillermo Pisani (LSDI). Together, they create performances that blend research, fiction, and political reflection.
Through their series of stage works titled “Croyances,” they explore the ways we tell stories, believe, and pass on knowledge.

This season, the company will present:
- Fake News - An Enemy of the People
- Afterwork

Nathanaëlle Raboisson

As a sound artist, performer of musique concrète, and researcher, Nathanaëlle Raboisson explores the forms of listening and immersion unique to acousmatic music. She directs the
MotusLab research laboratory at the Motus music company and is an associate member of IReMus (Institute for Research
in Musicology). For over twenty years, she has been fostering a dialogue between sound creation, technology, and the audience’s sensory experience.

This season, she will present:
- Spatializations of Sound

Simon Roth

A graduate of the Conservatoire National Supérieur d’Art Dramatique (class of 2021), Simon Roth creates a hybrid form of documentary theater to give voice to underrepresented contemporary events. Through his socially engaged productions, he rigorously examines his role as a performer in relation to the stories he conveys.
A native of Villiers-le-Bâcle, he is also involved in local cultural life.

This season, he will present:
- Tous les Français

Victor Thimonier

A director, playwright, and lecturer and researcher in theater studies at the University of Évry Paris-Saclay, Victor Thimonier founded the theater company Les Temps Blancs in 2013. There, he creates works that blend science, theater, and music to explore our relationship to knowledge, space, and time. With his series of portraits Anachronique paléolithique !, he delves into prehistory to shed light on the present.

This season, he will present:
- ExTRAS#1 Botanica
- ExTRAS#2 Climate records
