Baara
Baara, meaning “work” in Baoulé, is a hymn to the dignity of workers—the invisible people who wear down their bodies to keep our world turning.
Dancers Tidiani N’Diaye and Adonis Nebié sweep us away in a symphonic choreography where the energy of labor intertwines with the resilience of the human spirit. Each movement reveals the poetry hidden in ordinary actions, capturing the raw essence of survival. Enveloped in the experimental music of composer Clara De Asìs, the workers become artists, transforming pain into beauty, melancholy into hope, and the gestures of labor into dance.
