Before them stands a greenhouse haunted by the painter Le Douanier Rousseau… From this exploration emerges a baroque unfolding of plant science, blending performance, music, and poetry. Artistic and scientific perspectives intersect here, their echoes resonating as they gauge their differences. Does a scientist view living things differently than a painter?

EXTRAS #2 CLIMATE RECORDS - RESIDENCY AT THE LABORATORY OF CLIMATE AND ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCES (LSCE).

Whether from ice, marine sediments, lakes, or sewers, core samples serve as archives of past climates, essential for envisioning future climates. In the core repository at Gif-sur-Yvette, two cores are worried: Epica, an ice core, is beginning to melt, while Bottom, a sediment core, dreams of the ocean depths. Together, they tell the story of climatology and seek ways to escape rising temperatures. At the same time, a scientist at the LSCE has lost a sample from Antarctica and is questioning the pressures weighing on research. The cores and the researcher are trying to imagine other ways of thinking about the present.
