In the palm of my hand
Following the enthusiasm for Aux commencements (the famous cave!), the 14:20 theater company returns with Dans ma paume. Clément Debailleul, Philippe Beau, and writer Arthur Dreyfus combine their imaginations to offer a sensitive look at prehistory and cave art. Immersed in the heart of a mysterious paper cave, families and children discover a time-honored world where humans and animals seem bound by invisible forces. Through “ombromanie”—the art of creating shapes and creatures with one’s hands—shadows come to life as if by magic. *In My Palm* guides young and old alike back to the childhood of artistic expression: the kind that invents, surprises, brings people together, and opens the imagination wide.
